When I debug my program, I keep getting a dialog telling me to enter the path for the vc60.pdb file. When I select a directory that has a vc60.pdb file it gives me the message "A file with the correct name was found in the directory, but it is not the correct one."

Where is the vc60.pdb file it is looking for?

thanks,
John.

It was trying to find the .pdb file which was generated by VC++ while compiling the debug version of your application. Usually, it can be located in the "Debug" directory where you put "output" files.

BTW, all the .pdb files generated for LocWise are in "lib" directory.

I think it's looking for the .pdb file you created when you created your library. The reason I think this is because it only occurs when I'm stepping thru my code and I reach one of your functions that I call. And the dialog that appears shows the directory "c:\program files\patchwise\locwise\locwiselib\lcwlsd" not the directory of my program. Also if I select the directory where the vc60.pdb file was created for my program I get the message "A file with the correct name was found in this directory, but it is not the correct one."

There are no .pdb files in the "C:\Program Files\PatchWise\LocWise\Lib" directory. I have 6 vc60.pdb files in different subdirectories under the "c:\program files\PatchWise\locwise\locwiselib". Could this be my problem?

I tried selecting the vc60.pdb from the lcwlsd directory, and I got the error "A file with the correct name was found in this directory, but it is not the correct one." So I ran EnvSetup as you suggested. Everything appeared to compile fine w/o any errors. However I still got the same error when I tried to debug my code, I again selected the lcwlsd folder and again I was told the vc60.pdb file was not the correct file.

I was wondering if you had any thoughts on how to fix my problem?

thanks,
John.

I doubt I'm using the lastest version. Where do I find the version #, and where can I download the latest version?
